The Virginia Sports Hall of Fame pays tribute to the athletes, coaches, administrators, and even journalists who have had notable achievements in the sports world. Inductees include Virginia University basketball star Bryant Stith, football coach Charlie Sumner, and NASCAR legend Ricky Rudd. Visitors can peruse historical displays and participate in exhibits such as a simulated sportscasting booth, and a race car area. The Hall of Fame is located in Portsmouth's Olde Town district, across from the Children's Museum of Virginia.
